Queen receives Darjah Kerabat award from Selangor Ruler


KLANG: Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah received the Darjah Kerabat Yang Amat Dihormati (DK) from Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah on Thursday (Dec 14).

The royal investiture ceremony in conjunction with Sultan Sharafuddin's 78th birthday was held at the Istana Alam Shah.

Also in attendance were Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, the Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, Regent of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Selangor Raja Muda Tengku Amir Shah.

The ceremony was also attended by members of the Selangor and Pahang royal families, several Selangor Executive Council members, Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz as well as members of the Selangor Royal Council.

The main investiture ceremony was held on Sultan Sharafuddin's birthday at the same venue on Dec 11.
