CHERAS: The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department has issued 464 notices to 85 premises owners in the past one and a half months for disregarding fire safety guidelines by offering "shoebox" room rentals.
The notices were issued by a task force formed on Oct 26 to crack down on premises that have undergone illegal renovations.
