Sungai Penchala man nabbed for allegedly stabbing his senior citizen parents to death


KUALA LUMPUR: A married couple was found dead, believed to have been stabbed by his son following a fight at their home in Kampung Sungai Penchala here.

It is learnt that the senior citizens, aged 72 and 82, were found in a pool of blood in the living room.

Sources said an argument occurred between the victims and their 42-year-old so, who was believed to be a drug addict.

"In the midst of the argument, the suspect is believed to have grabbed a sharp object and stabbed his parents.

"Those who heard the altercation contacted the police," sources said.

It is learnt that police managed to apprehend the suspect.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid confirmed the murder involving the two victims.

"The suspect is the victim's son, and we are investigating under Section 302 of the Penal Code," he said when contacted.
