MELAKA: A wildlife sanctuary here has successfully bred the Green Tree python in captivity.

Melaka Butterfly and Reptile Sanctuary managing director Gerard Wong Woon See said 17 young hatched from a clutch of eggs by a female snake at the end of last month, marking a milestone in breeding the species renowned for its vivid colouration and unique care requirements.
