Bus driver with 12-year-lapsed licence nabbed in Penang


NIBONG TEBAL: A factory bus driver who kept on driving for 12 years without renewing his licence was among the errant motorists caught under Ops Patuh recently.

The 48-year-old was ferrying 33 foreign workers from a factory in Batu Kawan to their dormitory in the Valdor area when he was caught in a joint operations between the Road Transport Department (JPJ), the Penang police's traffic investigation and enforcement division and the National Anti-Drug Agency.
