PETALING JAYA: The proposed implementation of a multi-tiered levy system in the hiring of foreign workers has drawn support from an apex trade organisation, provided the funds collected is used to help businesses with automation and training.

National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia president Tan Sri Soh Thian Lai said the approach was integral to supporting the move towards more technology adoption and digitalisation.
