MELAKA: The Pantai Mutiara drowning incident in Sungai Udang here claimed a second life when a rescued teen died at Hospital Melaka after valiant efforts by the medical team failed to resuscitate the 16-year-old.
Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Christopher Patit identified the victim as Mohamad Lukhman Aliff Mokhtar, who was earlier rescued by his classmate Faris Darwisy Mohd Faizal, 16, in a heroic feat which saw the latter drowning during the incident.
