Batik Air offers fixed fares to affected MYAirline passengers


KUALA LUMPUR: Following budget carrier MYAirline's suspension of all its flights, Batik Air has extended a helping hand to stranded passengers with fixed fares on selected routes.

Affected passengers are required to attach a copy of their MYAirline tickets and make the booking through email at mya@batikair.com.my.

Its one-way inclusive special fares cover Penang (RM129), Langkawi (RM159), Kuching (RM199) and Kota Kinabalu (RM299), as well as Bangkok (Don Muang).

"Passengers can avail (themselves of) these one-way all inclusive special fares for travel up to Nov 30, and seats are subject to availability," Lion Group and Batik Air group strategic director Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy said in a statement on Thursday (Oct 12).

"With the challenges passengers are facing, our aim is to assist them... reach their destination with ease," he added.
