Jakim to hold 'solat hajat' for people of Morocco, Lybia

PUTRAJAYA: The Islamic Development Department Malaysia (Jakim) is organising special prayers (solat hajat) after the Maghrib prayer on Monday (Sept 18) at three main mosques - the National Mosque in Kuala Lumpur, Putra Mosque and Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, here.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar said the prayers are for the well-being of the victims of the earthquake in Morocco and the flood in Libya as well as reconciliation in Sudan.
