RM500k of unregistered medical devices seized so far this year

PUTRAJAYA: Unregistered medical devices such blood pressure monitors, digital thermometers and medical test kits are among the RM500,000 worth of items seized by the Medical Devices Authority (MDA) this year.

MDA chief executive Dr Muralitharan Paramasua said the unregistered medical devices or products were seized in five raids across the country.
