State polls: Pakatan-BN obtains simple majority to form Selangor government, says EC

PUTRAJAYA: Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional has obtained a simple majority in the state election on Saturday (Aug 12) to continue to lead Selangor, says the Election Commission.

Pakatan won 29 out of 56 state seats in Selangor as of 11.31pm, EC chairman Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh announced in a media conference here.
