Heatwave may see snakes heading into residential areas

KOTA KINABALU: With temperatures rising, people should not only be wary of heatstroke and other related ailments, they should also keep an eye out for snakes, says the Sabah Health Department.

Its director Dr Asits Sanna said during hot weather, reptiles such as snakes and lizards will usually seek shelter from the heat and search for food in housing areas.
