Man shot in row over sale of bird's nest

LUMUT: It was a case of bird's nest in hand not being worth a bullet in the wrist. A man was shot after a misunderstanding over the sale of the prized swiftlet secretion near here on Wednesday (Aug 2), police said.

Manjung OCPD Asst Comm Mohamed Nordin Abdullah said the 26-year-old victim was shot in the left wrist by another man at an unoccupied house along Jalan Segari-Pantai Remis at about 5pm.
