SHAH ALAM: The grassroots voters in Sungai Buloh, especially Barisan Nasional supporters, are synchronising very well with Pakatan Harapan for fielding a PKR candidate for the Paya Jaras and Kota Damansara state seats, says Sungai Buloh MP Datuk R. Ramanan.

“I have met with both the candidates and BN leadership, and I do not see any problem there.

“Even Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has the same feeling.

“If he is saying it, then I should take it as a gospel truth,” he told the reporters after the Ceramah Arus Merah Kuning at Subang Bestari, Selangor on Saturday (July 29).

Reporters were asking him about grassroots voters and if they were receptive to the unity government.

On the change of candidates, Ramanan said it would not affect much for the state election as it is done before nomination.

“It can be odd but we are also seeing a similar thing happen in Terengganu and Kedah.

“I think it is not easy for Anwar to appease all the political factions and calculations had to be revised to make the best decision for the coalition,” he said.

He was referring to Muhammad Izuan Ahmad Kasim who had replaced Aidi Amin Yazid as the candidate for Kota Damansara despite Anwar announcing the latter’s candidacy one week ago.
