PETALING JAYA: The adoptive father of the non-Muslim woman who was fined for wearing shorts inside her shop in Kota Baru regrets that the incident has been turned into political fodder.

Businessman Sunny See Yeap Seng, 51, called for the matter to be laid to rest as he had already paid the RM50 compound at the Kota Baru Municipal Council (MPKB) office on June 28 on her behalf.
