Bring water sports to Sg Melaka to boost tourism

PETALING JAYA: The Melaka government plans to transform a route along Phase Two of Sungai Melaka into a recreational area specifically to hold water sport activities such as dragon boat and canoe boat racing.

Its Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh said the plan is intended to make the river a tourist attraction for Visit Melaka Year 2024 (TMM 2024).
