Father figure an important part of growing up, says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: A father figure is an important part of growing up, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"Everyone needs a father figure while they are growing up and I was lucky to have my father who loved and guided us in his own way," the MCA president said in a Father's Day post on his official Facebook account.

He also thanked his children in the same post on Sunday (June 18).

"To my children, thank you for always making me a proud father as you achieve your many milestones in life. Seeing my kids grow up strong, happy, and healthy is the greatest gift a father can have," said Dr Wee.

"Here’s wishing all the dads a very happy Father’s Day," the Ayer Hitam MP added.
