Mother of SPM high achiever passes away


BACHOK: The mother of excellent student Muhammad Syahril Saidi (pic), 18, who recently obtained 11As in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination, died on Saturday (June 10).

Sekolah Menengah Ugama (A) Darul Iman principal, Noor Ruziana Ismail, when confirming the matter, said Tuan Faridah Tuan Ismail, 53, breathed her last at about 8.45pm and the funeral prayers would be held at Masjid al-Qudus, Kandis at 10am on Sunday (June 11).
