KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan of Kedah Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah will grace the Malaysia Madani Aidilfitri Open House to be held in the state on Saturday (April 29).
Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil said the Federal Government was grateful that the Ruler has agreed to grace the occasion with his presence.
"The Sultan’s appearance will certainly add colour to the Malaysia Madani Aidilfitri Open House series, as well as give Kedahans the opportunity to celebrate Aidilfitri together with His Royal Highness," he said in a statement on Friday (April 28).
The event will be held from 10am to 2pm at Hotel Raia, Alor Setar.
Earlier, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim invited the public to join him at the Malaysia Madani Aidilfitri Open House at six locations, starting with Kedah.- Bernama
