Egg importer sues Azmin for defamation


KUALA LUMPUR: An egg importing company has filed a lawsuit against former International Trade and Industry minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali for alleging that the company obtained a contract through direct negotiation with the government to import eggs from India.

J&E Advance Tech Sdn Bhd, as plaintiff, filed the suit through Law Chambers of Han & Zi at the High Court here on April 12, naming Mohamed Azmin as the sole defendant.
