Teen’s nose injured after pierced by 'arrow'

KOTA KINABALU: An arrow-like object pierced a teenage boy’s nose in Ranau on Thursday (March 16).

The Fire and Rescue Department used a bolt cutter to cut off the object after the Ranau district hospital called for help at 4.59pm.

“The 18-year-old suffered injuries on the nose and he was then handed over to the hospital’s medical officers for further treatment.

“The operation ended at 5.11pm,” said a Fire and Rescue Department spokesman.
