Make pre-tenancy course compulsory for PPR, says expert

KUALA LUMPUR: The government has been urged to introduce a compulsory pre-tenancy course to provide awareness and knowledge to prospective tenants of People’s Housing Projects (PPR) to ensure a more conducive housing environment.

Estate Management senior lecturer at the College of Built Environment, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Assoc Prof Dr Mona Isa said this was based on the previous scenario, where the government had to spend a lot to repair damaged facilities in PPR such as lifts due to vandalism.
