Takiyuddin rubbishes Tok Mat's claim that PAS 'wants to kill' Umno

PETALING JAYA: Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan's statement that PAS "wants to kill" Umno is absurd, says Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan.

The PAS secretary-general said the political history of this country shows that Umno has been determined for a long time to eliminate PAS, including an attempt to ban it at some point in the past.
