Fisheries block ice facility in Pahang closed due to bacteria contamination


KUANTAN: A fisheries block ice production premises has been ordered to close after the state Health Department found bacteria contamination in samples.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa microorganisms had been found in block ice samples on Dec 15 and results received on Jan 8 from a re-sampling still showed contamination, said state Health Department director Datuk Indera Dr Nor Azimi Yunus.
