Covid-19 Watch: 480 new cases bring total to 5,023,999


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 480 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (Dec 26), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, 473 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 7 imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 5,023,999 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 4 deaths were recorded on Monday with no cases of brought in dead, bringing the total to 36,835.
