M’sians hit beaches and waterfront areas despite weather warnings

PETALING JAYA: Despite warnings to stay away from beaches and waterfalls due to dangerous waves and water surges during the monsoon season, some tourists are determined to go ahead with their year-end holiday plans.

Marketing administrative officer Evon Khong said she was not concerned about the possibility of her beach plans being scrapped.
