PETALING JAYA: As GE15 results unfold, top Pakatan Harapan leaders are meeting to discuss possible post-election cooperation with other coalitions to form the next government.
According to a party source, the meeting, involving members of the Pakatan presidential council, is taking place in a hotel in Subang Jaya in the early hours of Sunday (Nov 20).
"There are several options on the table and it won't be easy as we enter uncharted territory," said the source.
A press conference is expected to be held after the meeting.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere was lively at a hotel in Subang where Pakatan leaders gathered to hear the GE15 results.
Aside from politicians, party members and media personnel who had gathered there since the previous evening, the hotel was also swarmed by many people keen to see events unfolding.
As of 2am, Pakatan has 61 seats, Perikatan Nasional has 62 seats, Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) has 22 seats and Barisan has 27,
The Election Commission (EC) has yet to announce the results for 32 seats.
