GE15: Pakatan will halve the number of ministers – and their salaries too, says Anwar


IPOH: If given the mandate to govern the country, Pakatan Harapan will halve the number of ministers that the previous government had, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

"We need a clean slate in leadership – the 70-plus ministers now will definitely be reduced to half.

"I assure everyone that the salaries of ministers will be cut in half too," PKR president said in his speech at the grand finale ceramah held at Meow Garden in Tambun here.

Thousands of people gathered at the site despite a heavy downpour.

He advised youngsters to ensure that they all go out to vote.

"The young people must take interest in politics," he added.
