GE15: Balik Pulau indie candidate Johnny Ch'ng used connections to rescue teen trapped in Myanmar

GEORGE TOWN: Teenager Koh Sheng Yur, 19, is grateful to finally be back on Malaysian soil after his ordeal in Myanmar, where he was punished if he failed to deceive China citizens in an online scam.

Koh said he was made to run five laps around a football field and carry a barrel of water weighing 7kg up and down six flights of stairs if he failed to carry out his task.
