Man dies in fall from Ipoh Central Market


IPOH: A 29-year-old man has died after falling the Ipoh Central Market building on Jalan Laksamana here.

Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Najib Hamzah said police received information about the incident at about 9.25am on Wednesday (Sept 23).

He said the victim, a local, was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The victim's body was taken to the Forensic Department of the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital here at about 10.30am for a post-mortem examination," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
