JOHOR BARU: Barisan Nasional’s candidate for the Segamat parliamentary seat, Tan Sri M. Ramasamy, knows all about the hardships faced by the poor in his constituency.

The 58-year-old, who was born at an estate in Sungai Chinoh, Perak, said he was the second of three siblings in a poor family.
