KUALA LUMPUR: With just over a week before Deepavali, traders are expecting sales to pick up as the Festival of Lights draws closer.

Persatuan Prihatin Peniaga Kecil Little India (PPPKLI) secretary P. Thinakaran said many shoppers had flocked to Brickfields last year due to the lack of Deepavali bazaars elsewhere.
