Abdul Azeez freed of graft charges

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim walked out of the Sessions Court a free man – at least for now – after the prosecution decided that further investigations were needed in his corruption case.

The former Tabung Haji chairman was given a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) by the Sessions Court on nine charges, three of which are for corruption and six for money laundering, linked to road projects in Perak and Kedah.
