We cannot wait any longer for GE15, says Ahmad Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR: The message is loud and clear, the time for General Election 15 (GE15) is now, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Barisan Nasional chairman said this to a stadium full of Barisan Youth members while Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob was also present.

"We want a win for Barisan, and we don't want people to continue to be incited.

"They (Opposition) can have large gatherings, but we don't need large gatherings, we have bigger spirits and if a such high spirit is translated into the GE, we will win," Ahmad Zahid said on Saturday (Sept 17) at Stadium Titiwangsa at the launch of the Barisan Youth election machinery.

He also said Barisan would have roadshows to counter all the allegations and issues brought up by the Opposition.

Ahmad Zahid also said that he shared great chemistry with Ismail Sabri contrary to outside chatter, telling the crowd that there was no problem between the duo either politically or personally.

"What we need from him (Ismail Sabri) right now is to call for the election," he said.
