Ready for the GE battle, says Umno Youth

KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional Youth is ready for the polls, says its chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.

Asyraf Wajdi said having waited for the past four years, the youth machinery's motivation level is high.

"The mandate to set the date for the 15th general election is with the prime minister, the president and deputy president of Umno, so we trust them to decide. But even if Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob were to dissolve Parliament tomorrow, the machinery is ready," he said.

Asyraf Wajdi added that the preparations of 191 divisions were at a satisfactory level, with Barisan Youth raring to go to battle.

He also called for solidarity among Barisan Component parties, saying that unity would safeguard them against the opposition's games.
