Digital condolence book for Queen Elizabeth now online

PETALING JAYA: A digital condolence book is now accessible online for people who wish to pay their tribute and respect to Queen Elizabeth II on her passing, says British High Commissioner to Malaysia Charles Hay.

In a statement on Friday (Sept 9), he said the digital book can be accessed online at www.royal.uk.

"A physical condolence book will be opened to the public next week from Sept 12 to 15 between 8am and 4.30pm at Menara Binjai, 2, Jalan Binjai, Kuala Lumpur.

"Our flags are at half-mast until the state funeral which will be in around 10 days' time," he said.

Charles added that Her Majesty would always be remembered for her contributions.

"We are profoundly saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

"The Queen will be remembered for her extraordinary devotion to duty and her life of service to Britain, the Realms and the Commonwealth.

"My colleagues and I are already receiving many condolence messages and tributes from our friends in Malaysia.

"We are very grateful to the outpouring of affection and respect for her in Malaysia," he said.
