Selangor BN convention: Najib takes another dig at his 'admirer' Rafizi

SHAH ALAM: After "staying in his cave for three years", PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli is presenting himself as the champion of the people, says Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

"He stayed in his cave for three years, then suddenly comes out and now is the champion of the people," he said.

He added that Rafizi was the "raja formula songsang" (king of wrong formulas).

"I want to mention Rafizi because he seems to be 'interested' in me – but in a political sense," he said at the Selangor Barisan Nasional Convention Setia City Convention Centre here on Sunday (July 31).

"You see his old recordings promising that if Pakatan Harapan won, there would be free higher education and RM5,000 per student. He promised PTPTN loans would be waived. Rafizi, what happened to these three promises," added Najib.
