PETALING JAYA: Malaysians who see anyone resembling Zalina Shaharah Azman should take pictures or videos of the individual concerned to aid efforts to locate the missing former TV3 newsreader, says Datuk Ras Adiba Mohd Radzi.

The Senator, who is a good friend of Zalina, also thanked Malaysians who have been forthcoming with information in efforts to find the latter.

"I wish to thank all Malaysians because you have shared information on the search for our friend Zalina.

"I wish to ask for your kindness - should you see anyone resembling Zalina, I ask you to take a video or picture of her so that it is easier for us to identify whether it is really her.

"Once again, thank you and I hope we all can work together to look for our friend Zalina," Ras Adiba said in a video posted on her Instagram page on Wednesday (July 20).

Earlier, an individual by the name Mosyuki Borhan (Yuki) claimed on Twitter that a woman who looked like Zalina was in his cafe in Section 9, Shah Alam Selangor at about 1pm on Sunday (July 17).

He said she looked anxious and was shivering with fear.

Zalina, 58, who previously hosted several talk shows, including Money Matters on TV3, was reported missing by her son Mikhael Norman, 33, on Nov 29, 2021.

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the police have checked with the Immigration Department and discovered that Zalina had not gone overseas.

Police will also record Mosyuki’s statement over his alleged sighting of Zalina at his cafe.

"We also received some information in connection with Zalina but there is nothing concrete yet," he said when contacted on Wednesday (July 20).
