Renowned RTM Tamil newscaster Chandrakala Yeopan has left the organisation after 14 years of service, Makkal Osai reported.

The longtime newsreader said she has been offered a role with the Digital Ministry. She will also be pursuing her education and carrying out research work related to the ministry.

The opportunity given to her by RTM has brought her recognition from the community, political leaders and Tamil luminaries, and opportunities to attend conferences abroad.
