Aerospace engineering grad at Transport Ministry part of prestigious Perdana Fellows Programme, says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: An aerospace engineering graduate from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia has been placed at the Transport Ministry, but he is not just any ordinary graduate, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

In a Facebook post on Friday (July 15), the Transport Minister said the graduate, Alif Qusyairi Abd Razak, is in fact part of the prestigious Perdana Fellows Programme and a member of the Subang Flying Club Selangor.

“He is currently undergoing flight tests for an accumulated 50 hours before being allowed to become a pilot.

“With that, I hope this placement proves to be a valuable experience for him which allows him to learn much more as well,” he said.

Dr Wee added that he would do his best to provide various exposures to those under the programme

“This would include learning more about how the ministry operates, parliamentary duties and social works,” he said.
