PETALING JAYA: Members of the Malaysian Bar gather at Padang Merbok on Friday (June 17) ahead of a planned peaceful march to Parliament to uphold judicial independence.

On May 27, the Bar voted, at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), to hold a peaceful protest to uphold judicial independence and to also condemn a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigation against Court of Appeal judge Datuk Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali.
