Bodies of two unidentified men found at sea near Pulau Indah


KLANG: The bodies of two men have been found floating off the coast near the Marina Jetty at Pulau Indah here.

Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Selangor director V. Siva Kumar said they were alerted to the discovery at 4.26pm on Thursday (June 2).

"We received information from the fishing community about the bodies and dispatched a boat to the area.

"The boat arrived at the scene at 4.45pm and found the two bodies," he said in a statement on Friday (June 3).

He said one of the deceased was fully clothed while the other was only clad in long pants.

"We believe they had been in the water for about three days," he said, adding that no identification documents were found on the men.

He said the bodies were taken to the Marina Jetty and handed over to police for further action.

He urged anyone with missing family members or information on the matter and any other crimes or emergencies at sea to contact Selangor MMEA at 03-2176 0627.
