Former chief of defence force Dr Abdul Rahman passes away


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's former chief of defence force Jen (Rtd) Tan Sri Dr Abdul Rahman Abdul Hamid died early Thursday (June 2) morning at the Tuanku Mizan Military Hospital (HTTM), here due to a lung infection. He was 83.

The Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) headquarters, in a statement said that Abdul Rahman, who was the 11th chief of defence force, was admitted to HTTM on May 25 and his health began to deteriorate yesterday. He breathed his last at 2.15am.
