Jho Low and father fail to lift order over RM6.28bil in assets


KUALA LUMPUR: Fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho and his father have failed in their bid to set aside an ex-parte Mareva injunction involving assets worth RM6.28bil.

The injunction effectively bars the son and father from disposing of their assets in Malaysia amounting to US$1.03bil (RM4.52bil) and US$401.5mil (RM1.76bil) respectively in a lawsuit filed by 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) and its subsidiaries.
