FILM producer Gayatri Su-Lin was a picture of delight after she was gifted a luxury car by actor Zul Ariffin (pic).
“There are no words to describe my feelings at the moment.
“This happens once in a lifetime,” she said, as reported by Harian Metro.
Gayatri, 46, said she had not expected such a “great gift” from her best friend.
She shared a video on TikTok in which she conveyed her appreciation.
The report said that there was a possibility that Zul had given her a Range Rover SUV.
Zul and Gayatri had dated back in 2012, but their relationship ended three years later.
In another report in Utusan Malaysia, Gayatri said she had not asked why Zul had given the car to her.
“Maybe it is for my birthday,” she said.
> A 31-year-old man, who spent the past nine years caring for his ailing father who needed to be carried around, is now looking for a full-time job, Sinar Harian reported.
Mohd Farihan Ab Hamid used to take on odd jobs while caring for his 64-year-old father, who died on Sunday at their rented home in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu.
“I’ve taken on many jobs like a security guard and garbage collector, but none lasted as I could not be away from my father for long,” he explained.
His father had relied on him a lot, so much so that he would cry when Farihan was away from him.
Two years ago, Farihan’s devotion to his father came to light when his story was shared on social media.
He would take his father everywhere on his motorcycle.
Sinar Harian also carried a photo of him, cradling his frail father.
Farihan, who has two children aged eight months and six years, said it was now time for him to have a proper job so that he could support his family.
His wife Maziana Abdul Manan, 37, is unemployed as she is taking care of their children.
“I can’t afford daycare because we don’t have a stable income. So it is best for my wife to take care of the children while I work.
“I hope this Ramadan, our lives will change and I will get a better job,” he said.
