Melaka restaurant raided for selling food to those skipping fasting


MELAKA: Enforcement officers from the Melaka Religious Department (JAIM) raided a restaurant at Taman Peringgit here for supplying meals to those "ponteng puasa" (skipping the fast) during Ramadan.

JAIM director Datuk Che Sukri Che Mat said the raid was initiated after his team observed the restaurant for a few days.
