Covid-19: More than 1.2 million five to 11-year-olds have received at least one vaccine dose


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 1,263,287 children aged five to 11 years old, or 35.6% per cent of the group in the country, have received their first dose of a two-dose Covid-19 vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of Sunday (March 20).

As for adolescents aged 12 to 17 years old, the Health Ministry CovidNow portal said 2,843,805 individuals, or 94.6% of the population, have been fully vaccinated while 2,942,399 had received at least one dose of a two-dose vaccine.
