Talks to revive KL-Singapore HSR to start in second quarter of 2022, govt also mulling KL-Bangkok HSR, says Dr Wee

KUALA LUMPUR: Discussions with Singapore on reviving the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project will start in the second quarter of 2022 while at the same time, the Transport Ministry is also mulling a feasibility study on a Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok HSR.

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said the ministry had been tasked to initiate discussions with the Singaporean government on the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore HSR project and that talks were still in the early stages.
