Dr M still receiving treatment but allowed home


PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is still undergoing treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN) but has been allowed to go on home leave.

A statement from the Langkawi MP’s office said Dr Mahathir was allowed home leave for the past three days from Wednesday from 8am to 4pm, though he was still required to undergo physiotherapy and other medical procedures at IJN.
