Covid-19: Malaysia reports 4,744 new cases on Wednesday (Jan 26)

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 4,744 new Covid-19 infections on Wednesday (Jan 26), says the Health Ministry.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, in a tweet, that this brings the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia to 2,844,969 cases since the pandemic began.

He added that more detailed statistics on Wednesday's daily cases would be uploaded to the Health Ministry's CovidNow portal at midnight.
